About Us
Walker Family Services offers a range of mental health and support services for adults. We believe that getting the right diagnosis and treatment can help you live a more productive life and build strong, meaningful relationships with your family and in your community.
Peer Support
8:30 am - 2:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with lunch and snack
This service helps you connect with others, build support, and work toward recovery and overall wellness.
You’ll take part in activities with people who are going through similar experiences. These activities are often shaped by you and others in the group, and they focus on helping you:
- Speak up for yourself and your needs
- Build relationships and a strong support system
- Improve daily living skills
- Become more independent
The goal is to help you feel supported, grow, and live as independently as possible.

Substance Abuse
This is an outpatient program for adults (18 and older) who need extra structure and support to recover from substance use.
In this program, you’ll learn:
- How substances affect your life and health
- Skills to support your early recovery
- How to build a strong support system
- Ways to prevent relapse
You’ll meet regularly with a team that may include medical providers, therapists, and recovery support staff—all working together to support you.
The program is structured with scheduled sessions, but still allows you to live at home and continue with work or school while getting the help you need.

Individual Counseling
This is a counseling service provided by a trained therapist to help you work toward your personal goals.
Your sessions are focused on what matters most to you and are based on your individual treatment plan. The goal is to support you in making progress, overcoming challenges, and improving your overall well-being.

Medication Management
This service provides medical and psychiatric care to support your mental health.
It includes:
- Therapy along with medical check-ins to look at both your mental and physical health
- Monitoring how your medications are working and making sure they’re right for you
- Checking if your current treatment is the best fit or if any changes are needed
The goal is to make sure you’re getting the right care to help you feel better and move forward.

Case Management
Case Management helps you get the support and services you need to improve your life and stay on track with your recovery.
Your case manager works with you to connect you to resources, coordinate your care, and create a stable environment that supports your goals and overall well-being.
